“POLICE MARTYRS T-20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT” CONCLUDES WITH A GRAND FINALE AT GORWAN LAR.

“Police Martyrs T-20 Cricket Tournament”, organised in the loving memory & honour of the brave police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty, concluded today with a grand finale at Gorwan Lar Ground with great enthusiasm, fervour and reverence.

SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal–JKPS graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, inspiring players and spectators with his presence. Senior officers, civil society members, respectable citizens, and a large number of youth witnessed the thrilling final match.

The tournament, organised to commemorate the supreme sacrifices of Jammu & Kashmir Police martyrs, aimed at strengthening police-public relations while promoting sportsmanship and channelising youth energy in a positive direction.

During the valedictory ceremony, *SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS* congratulated the finalist teams for showcasing exceptional talent, discipline, and team spirit. He reiterated that such events not only keep alive the memory of the fallen heroes but also encourage youth to pursue sports and stay away from social evils.

*Trophies, Medals and Appreciation Certificates* were distributed among the winning team (Ganderbal Lions) and runner-up team (Royal Trafford Lar),for outstanding performances. The spectators applauded the initiative and expressed gratitude to J&K Police for continuously engaging youth through sports and community-oriented programmes.

The event concluded with a pledge to uphold the legacy of the martyrs and continue organising such activities that foster unity, harmony, and healthy competition across the district.
