BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 30: A career counselling session was organised today, at the Auditorium Hall, Kaloosa, Bandipora by Mindwire Academy Bandipora to guide students towards informed career choices and personal growth.

The session was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib; Registrar, University of Kashmir, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Bandipora, who interacted with students and shared valuable insights from their professional journeys.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner encouraged students to be active participants in life, advising them to work hard, be players rather than spectators, and learn from people who have faced setbacks.

Emphasising the importance of vision, she urged students to “dare to dream,” stating that dreams and goals are essential to give direction to life and career. She noted that once a dream is firmly absorbed in the mind, half the journey towards success is achieved, and those who frame clear strategies eventually succeed.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner further said that while society offers numerous career suggestions, students must ultimately listen to their own mind and heart, adding that choosing a career is a personal decision and the absence of a defined career path is not the end of life.

The speakers highlighted the need for self-belief, discipline and informed decision-making in an increasingly competitive environment.

The session was well received by students, who actively participated and benefited from the guidance shared by the distinguished guests.
