GANDERBAL, JANUARY 20: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore today chaired a review meeting to assess the status and progress of the digitization of revenue records across the district. During the meeting, DC took a comprehensive review of the digitization process, including the initation of grievance redressal regarding Jamabandies in villages.
He emphasized the importance of accuracy and timeliness in completing the exercise, which is aimed at ensuring transparency and ease of access to land records for the public.
DC directed the concerned officers to accelerate the pace of work and improve overall performance so that the digitization process is completed within the prescribed timelines.
He also sought Tehsil-wise updates and asked the Tehsildars to highlight the challenges being faced in their respective jurisdictions.
Stressing the urgency of the task, DC urged all revenue officials to work with greater coordination and commitment to ensure time bound completion of the task.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Sub Divisional Magistrate Kangan and all Tehsildars.
