Out of 63 feeders of Kupwara Electric Division, 26 have been fully restored which include Sogam, Kupwara, Trehgam, Gundmachar, Awoora, Armpora, Aloosa, Batpora, Kalaroose, Dever, Kupwara Town, Gulgam, Halmatpora and Pazipora.
Out of 45 feeders of Electric Division Handwara, 25 have been fully restored which among others include Handwara Town, Mawar, Nougam, Magam, Neelipora, Haril and Hangah.
Due to fault in some 33kv lines, many feeders are not working currently resulting in power outage in these areas.
The field staff is on the job to fully restore the electricity supply as early as possible. The general public is requested to cooperate with the administration till the power supply is restored to them.
