Bandipora, January 31 : The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, held an interaction with teachers from different educational zones of the district at the VC Room, Mini Secretariat Bandipora, to review learning outcomes and the education scenario in the district.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner expressed concern over the declining literacy rate in the district. She also flagged poor performance of some schools in recent board examinations.

During the interaction, the DC emphasised effective implementation of NEP-2020, particularly Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), and highlighted the need to bridge communication gaps between parents and school administrations. The Deputy Commissioner urged teachers to lead change by focusing on career counselling and skill development, assuring full administrative support to improve learning outcomes and literacy levels in Bandipora.

During the interaction, the Deputy Commissioner invited inputs from teachers on strengthening academic standards and upgrading educational infrastructure in the district.Teachers offered valuable feedback and shared constructive suggestions to enhance teaching-learning processes and academic performance in schools.
