Delhi High Court grants one-week interim bail to jailed Engineer Rashid to visit his ailing father.

Court – Rashid has been in custody for more than 6 years. After going through records, court is of the opinion that this is a fit case for grant of interim bail for one week, on the conditions – (1) He will give Rs 1 lakh personal bond and surety bond of like amount (2) He will be accompanied by two police officals (3) He shall remain in the residence or hospital where is father is located the address of which will be provided (4) He shall not be allowed to move out. (5) He shall use one mobile number which shall be in switched on mode (6) He shall not try to contact any witness or influence (7) There will not be any undue vistors except immediate family. The cost will be borne by the NIA, court clarified.
