Social Activist and Youth Leader Muzamil Mehmood organized a Drug-Free Pledge programme at Mazhar-ul-Haq High School, Beerwah, under Nasha Mukht J&K Abhiyan and directions of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor.The programme witnessed the participation of Mirwaiz Central Kashmir, reflecting a collective commitment towards building a drug-free society.
Addressing the students and staff on the occasion, Muzamil Mehmood underscored the pivotal role of education in shaping a responsible and aware generation. He highlighted the alarming rise of drug abuse and its devastating impact on individuals, families, and society at large. Emphasizing awareness, prevention, and community responsibility, he urged the youth to stay away from drugs and contribute positively towards society. The event concluded with a pledge by students and participants to work collectively towards eradicating the menace of drug abuse.
