Budgam: Social Activist Muzamil Mehmood organized and led a Drug-Free Pledge Ceremony at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Beerwah under the ongoing #NashaMukhtJKAbhiyan. The initiative aimed to raise awareness among students about the dangers of drug abuse and to inspire them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
During the programme, Muzamil Mehmood addressed the students and urged them to take a firm stand against drugs by embracing the message “No to Drugs, Yes to Life.” He spoke in detail about the harmful physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse, as well as the growing concern of illicit drug trafficking in society.
The event witnessed active participation from students and staff, who collectively pledged to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a safer and healthier community.The programme concluded with a strong message of unity and responsibility, emphasizing the crucial role of youth in shaping a drug-free future for Jammu & Kashmir.
