CM Omar Abdullah Shares Selfie with Snow Leopard Ahead of Gams

Srinagar, Jan 27 (JKNS): The Khelo India Winter Games will be held at Gulmarg from 22nd to 25th February 2025, with around 1000 athletes and officers from 30 teams across various states and sports boards participating.

Details available with news agency JKNS state that the players will be received at Srinagar Airport on 21st February and will be accommodated in 3-star and 4-star hotels in Gulmarg for their ease and comfort. Cultural evenings will be organized every day, with a laser and drone show scheduled for the first night.

Details further state that, around 1000 athletes and officers from 30 teams across various states and sports boards will be participating.

The games will officially begin with a grand opening ceremony on 22nd February and will conclude on 25th February with a medal ceremony and a gala cultural event.

Ahead of the event, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah took to X today, sharing a picture of a snow leopard with a joker-like appearance, and wrote, “I’ve had a lot of interesting people visit me in my office but I’ve never had a snow leopard,” as per news agency JKNS. (JKNS)
