Srinagar, September 25:The National Service Scheme (NSS), University of Kashmir, continued its weeklong Cleanliness Drive under the banner of Seva Parv across the main, north, and south campuses of the University.
On Thursday, NSS volunteers and staff members carried out cleanliness activities in the hostels of the main campus, as well as canteens and departmental premises at the north and south campuses.
Earlier, as part of this ongoing campaign, a special drive was organized at various playgrounds of the main campus with the support of the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, where a large number of students and volunteers actively participated.
Program Coordinator NSS, University of Kashmir, congratulated the entire NSS team for their commitment and enthusiasm in making the campaign a success. He emphasized that such efforts go a long way in instilling the values of cleanliness, civic responsibility, and environmental consciousness among students.
The initiative reflects the University of Kashmir’s consistent efforts towards promoting hygiene, sustainability, and community well-being, while ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for hostel residents, employees, and visitors alike.
