Government Degree College Kakryal, Katra, organized a plantation drive in collaboration with NSS Unit, NCORD, Red Ribbon Club and Youth Club. The initiative was undertaken to align with the Mega Plantation Drive conducted across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The programme was organised under the guidance of the Principal of the college, Dr. Rajni Bhagat. The event commenced with active participation from students, faculty members and volunteers from various institutional units. The drive aimed to promote environmental sustainability, ecological balance and awareness regarding the importance of afforestation among the youth
