Ganderbal, April 28:
District Administration Ganderbal today organised a yoga session at the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal as part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA@100 Days) initiative aimed at spreading awareness against drug abuse.
The programme witnessed participation from Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal Syed Faheem Bihaqi, officials from the Police Department, Ayush Department Ganderbal, employees from various departments, and students of Government College of Physical Education.
Officials said the main objective of the programme was to promote a drug-free society and encourage people, especially youth, to adopt a healthy lifestyle through activities like yoga and physical fitness.
Speaking to the media, ADC Ganderbal Syed Faheem Bihaqi said that the district administration has been regularly organising awareness programmes under the NMBA@100 Days campaign to educate people about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
He appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and other harmful activities and contribute towards making Jammu and Kashmir a drug-free society.
