Shopian 05 Jan 2023: A girl from District Shopian started her beautiful journey in Calligraphy, Drawings, Paintings related to islamic art. She was very keen to learn Calligraphy since from her childhood.
Her self learned art made her special and extraordinary artist in the field of Calligraphy. Although, it took her lot of efforts and hard-work for years.
While talking with “JK News Live” Arooba Shameem said that she had started her journey of life with calligraphy in her childhood and was very passionate about it. She got inspired from the brilliant artists of the valley and then she started drawing the beautiful Arabic calligraphic posts on social media. She also stated that calligraphy is a gem of a skill. In Calligraphy, she finds beauty in everything. Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad-tipped instrument.
In Calligraphy we use Brush and other writing instruments. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as “the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner.”
