GANDERBAL: 01ST MAY 2023 On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, under the supervision of DySP Hqr’s Ganderbal, Special Police team led by I/C Police Post Shadipora arrested two Notorious Drug Peddlers & recovered Psychotropic Substance from their possession.
During Patrolling near Satkreeri, Two Drug Peddlers were held while they were trying to sneak in to the village Zazuna in a black Wagon-R bearing Regd. No. DL2CAK-3882. During their Search, Psychotropic Substance like drug in the shape of Capsules and Bhang Patri was recovered. The accused were arrested & the Contraband Substance was Seized on the spot. They disclosed their identities as:
01. Gh Mohammad Ahanger S/O Gh Ahmad Ahanger R/O Nesbal
02. Irfan Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Nabi Bhat R/O Kharbagh
In this regard, Case FIR No. 115/2023 under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal and investigation has been taken up.
Once again, General Public is requested to kindly share information related to Drug Peddling or any other Anti social activities to their Nearest Police Station & Co-operate with Ganderbal Police in curbing the menace of Drugs.
