National Road Safety Week is observed with different activities and campaigns aimed at educating people about the significance of following road safety practices like wearing seat belts, avoiding rage driving, wearing helmets, and abstaining from drunk driving.

This week-long initiative aims to reduce road accidents and enhance overall safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists. Through a series of educational events, interactive workshops, and community outreach programs, we strive to instill a culture of cautious driving and pedestrian awareness.

Bilal Bhat further said, that during the month, various activities are being organized throughout the district to create awareness among the general public which include various awareness campaigns related to causes of road accidents and measures to prevent them and to give an opportunity to all stakeholders to contribute to the cause of road safety.

Engaging sessions on safe driving practices, the importance of seatbelt usage, and the dangers of distracted driving.Distributing informational materials to schools, businesses, and local neighborhoods to spread awareness on road safety.Live demonstrations showcasing the impact of seatbelt usage, proper helmet wearing for cyclists, and the dangers of impaired driving.

Bilal Bhat Campaigner, Social Reformer cum Motivational Speaker encourages everyone to actively participate in Road Safety Week, creating a united front in prioritizing safety on our roads. Let us work together to make our streets safer for everyone.

Road Safety Week is an annual initiative dedicated to promoting safe driving habits and reducing road accidents. It serves as a platform for communities, organizations, and individuals to come together and actively contribute to creating safer road environments.
