10 persons died in Ramban road accident

Srinagar, Mar 29 (KS): At least 10 persons lost their lives in a road accident in Ramban district of Jammu division on Friday.

An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a passenger taxi rolled down a deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway near Battery Chashma in Ramban area.

He said that soon after the incident Police, SDRF and civil QRT Ramban reached on spot and started a rescue operation.

He said that during rescue operation, 10 bodies were recovered from the site.

He said the identification is being ascertained while further proceedings have been taken up.(KS)
