GDC Hajin organises awareness rally to promote election participation
BANDIPORA, APRIL 24: NSS Unit of GDC Hajin organised a rally from College campus to the main market of Hajin, in order to spread awareness about the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
The rally organised under SVEEP initiative was flagged-off by Principal GDC Hajin, Professor (Dr.) Zahoor Ahmad.
Addressing participants, the principal expressed his views about the values and importance of the Right to Vote for nation building and prosperity.
Dr. Mehraj Hajini, Head Department of Political Science also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of vote.
In the rally, NSS volunteers and students of the college displayed posters and placards depicting slogans related to the importance of voting for the future of our country.
NSS Programme Officer, Dr. Firdous Ahmad; Adnan Rashid lone, Dr. Falak Farooz; Prof. Javeed Ahmad Raina, Dr Sajad Ahmad, Dr. Tabasum and Dr. Sajad Rashid of GDC Hajin besides a large number of the students and NSS Volunteers participated in the programme.
