Ganderbal 19 March 2025: In a bid to enhance road safety and ensure smooth traffic flow, SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir has launched a stringent drive against traffic violators in Ganderbal district.
During the enforcement drive, numerous vehicles were fined for violations such as driving without documents, not wearing helmets, reckless driving, and unauthorized modifications. The traffic police also impounded several vehicles for severe breaches of road safety norms.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir emphasized the need for responsible driving and urged commuters to adhere to traffic rules to prevent accidents and congestion. He reiterated that such drives would continue across rural areas to maintain discipline on the roads.
Locals have appreciated the initiative, hoping it will reduce road mishaps and ensure safer travel for all.
