Ganderbal: The Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) Safapora, in collaboration with J&K National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) Cluster A, Block Wakura, organized a Mega Financial Inclusion Awareness cum Linkage Camp focusing on PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Block Programme Manager, Ms. Madina Bukhari, apprised the gathering about the benefits and coverage of various Social Security Schemes. Mr. Riyaz Ahmad, Centre Manager CFL Safapora, explained the features of the APY scheme, while Bilal Bhat, Field Coordinator cum Motivational Speaker, emphasized the importance of the Mission Enrollment Drive to ensure that every eligible person avails the benefits of these schemes. Mr. Ishfaq Majeed Parah addressed the audience on the rising threats of digital frauds and the dangers of gambling and betting applications.
The event witnessed the presence of several community members, senior citizens, women leaders, Cluster Coordinators, Bank Mitras, Mobilizers, and other key stakeholders. On-the-spot enrollments were carried out, and hundreds of financial inclusion forms were distributed among participants for further processing.
The programme concluded with inspiring remarks from Ms. Madina Bukhari, who appreciated the collective efforts of all partners and urged continued cooperation to achieve full coverage of Social Security Schemes in the region.
