Ganderbal 09 Aug 2025: In a significant step towards bringing teachers, parents, and students together on a common platform to foster physical, socio-emotional, and intellectual development among learners, Principal DIET Ganderbal, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad, today attended GHSS Ganderbal, where a Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was held under the directions of the Worthy Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G. N. Itoo.
The event witnessed the participation of eminent citizens, parents, guardians, alumni, and students, alongside the presence of ADC Ganderbal, CEO Ganderbal, and other distinguished personalities.
The school campus came alive with welcome songs, folk performances, cultural programmes, and speeches by both students and invited guests, creating an atmosphere of celebration and collaboration.
Addressing the gathering, Principal DIET Ganderbal stressed that teachers must adopt each student as their own child, extending care, guidance, and mentorship akin to parental support. He also directed all DIET field staff to attend PTMs at various cluster head institutions as per the approved schedule.
The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, during which Principal DIET, accompanied by DIET faculty members, the Principal, and school staff, felicitated meritorious students who had brought laurels to the institution in the BOSE examinations.
