January 31, 2026: In a heartfelt ceremony held today at Boys Higher Secondary School Batwina, Principal Mr. Showkat Ahmad Malik attained superannuation after three decades of dedicated service, marking the end of an illustrious era in the institution’s history. Staff members organized a grand farewell event to honour his exceptional contributions as a visionary leader, shrewd academician, and exemplary administrator. The ceremony, attended by staff and school alumni, brimmed with gratitude and admiration. Staff members hailed Mr. Showkat Ahmad Malik as a transformative figure who elevated BHSS Batwina to new heights across multiple domains.
Under his stewardship, the school achieved remarkable excellence in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. He was not just a principal but a mentor who instilled discipline and innovation in equal measure. During his tenure, BHSS Batwina witnessed unprecedented successes: record-breaking board exam results, multiple state-level sports championships, and victories in debates, quizzes, and cultural festivals. His strategic vision integrated digital tools into classrooms and fostered a culture of holistic student development, preparing generations of students for future challenges.
