Srinagar, May 04 (ANH): The body of youth who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Jhelum has been retrieved in Barthana area of Qamarwari Srinagar, official said.

An official told Asian News Hub (ANH) that a youth who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Jhelum in Barthana area has been retrieved by river police srinagar.
They said that youth had jumped into Jhelum this afternoon, subsequently a rescue operation was launched by river police srinagar and within hours, the body of the youth was retrieved.
The body will be handed over to family after medico-legal formalities, they said.(ANH)
