Srinagar, Mar 27 (KNO): School Education Department Monday said that it will admit all those students who have shifted from private to government schools irrespective of whether they get discharge certificates or not.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) said this on the sidelines of an event.

“We have developed an online system wherein we capture the real time data online of new or fresh student enrollment,” DSEK said.

The director also said that till now, more than 40,300 fresh admissions have been received in government schools of Kashmir Division.

“There is no scope of fake enrollments as the already enrolled students won’t be able to re-registered,” the director said.

On asking about the discharge certificate issues faced by those students who have shifted from Private to government schools, the director said, “Nearly 8,000 such admissions have been recorded and as far as the discharge certificate is concerned, we have clearly informed the private school managements that the fee should not be the issue and those students who haven’t paid the fee yet shall pay it in installments.”

“We have also directed the respective Head of Institutions that every student shall get enrolled in government schools irrespective of whether they get discharge certificates or not,” DSEK said—(KNO)
