CEO Ganderbal Oneel Kumar Bhat conducts surprise inspection of schools

Ganderbal, July 21: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ganderbal, Oneel Kumar Bhat , today conducted a surprise inspection of several educational institutions in Zone Tullamulla . The visit was aimed at assessing the overall functionality of the schools, reviewing the punctuality of the teaching staff, and ensuring adherence to academic standards.

As part of the inspection, Oneel Kumar Bhat visited Government Primary School Theeru, MS Barsoo, PS Ahan and Government High School Theeru. He interacted with students to gauge their learning levels and observed classroom activities to assess the academic environment.

During the visit, the CEO emphasized the importance of staff punctuality and accountability in shaping the educational landscape. He urged the teachers to make concerted and sincere efforts to bridge the learning gaps among students.

He asked questions to the students regarding the basic concepts of different subjects including English, mathematics, EVS, science, and Urdu.

The CEO also checked the attendance of staff, students, school record, sanitation and Midday meal.

Highlighting the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Shri Kumar impressed upon the staff to ensure its smooth and effective implementation in letter and spirit. He reiterated that the reforms outlined in NEP 2020 are key to improving foundational learning, promoting holistic education, and preparing students for future challenges.

The local education fraternity welcomed the proactive initiative and expressed confidence that such surprise visits would help reinforce discipline, enhance learning outcomes, and bring qualitative improvements in the government education sector.
